Heartburn & Sciatic Nerve Pain @ 5 weeks

I just found out I am pregnant with my first baby. but only about 5 weeks.  I am already having bad heartburn and just today, having some serious sciatic nerve pain going thru my lower back, thru my butt and down into my leg.  Zantac is helping with the heartburn and I have been literally sitting on a heating pad all day trying to relieve the nerve pain.  Any tips?
