Light Red Spotting

Hi I am 3 weeks pregnant and earlier today I wiped after I went to the bathroom and there was a white/brownish discharge. Now a few hours later I wipe and now its red/pink... there are no clots and im not in any pain... Im cramping a little but Ive been told at 3 weeks thats normal...  is this spotting normal or is their something wrong? I took a pregnancy test and it still came back positive so is that a good thing? Has anyone had these problems and still had success?
