Am I crazy? (re: dress up parties)

Ava is going to be invited to one of places for a bday party that fix your hair and stuff--it's like a little salon for girls. The first thing that comes to my mind is lice. Supposedly, they disinfect the combs and the girls are "supposed to look for lice beforehand." Am I crazy for not wanting her to attend because of my fear of lice or am I founded?
