Bad to take PIO late?

Would it be harmful if I took my PIO injection a couple hours later than normal?  We're planning dinner out of town and I'd prefer to not have to take my syringes with to do the shot in my car.  However, if it's necessary to take it at the same time every day, then that's what we'd do.  I'm thinking it would only be about 2-2.5 hrs late at the most.
