Flying in First Trimester

Is it safe to fly in first trimester? I just noticed it commented as part of another girls post and I never even gave it much thought. I have a 7 hour flight tomorrow to visit my parents and will be doing to 7 hour flight back in 10 days. I am 8 weeks tomorrow and so far did not have any severe complications... no spotting, or severe nausea, etc.
