Naming advice... Friend of a Friend...

So long story short- a Friend of a Friend- that we barely ever see - but are friends on facebook and texts frequently - her sons name is our number 1 choice- and not because we got the name from her- but because it has been for a while.

the name is Blake- and although we have many other choices that we like- we always circle back to this name and how we both really love it.  

I just dont know what to do- are we making a bigger deal about not picking it just because its her son's name - or would we could get a side eye from our friend and her if we chose it? Sigh... WWPAIFD?
