Anyone know anything about polyps on cervix?

I had a doctor's appointment today and baby is doing great---heart rate was 167.  During the exam she asked if I had experienced any spotting recently--which I hadn't.  Apparently I have a polyp on my cervix.  She said they are usually benign and since I'm pregnant we won't remove right now unless my pap comes back bad.  But she explained that removing it at this while pregnant can be a risk to the baby so I'm thinking even if it is bad I don't want to remove right??  Anyone dealt with this before?
