Arching away from breast and refusing to latch?

DD has recently developed a habit of arching back/pushing away from the breast and refusing to latch even as she's crying because she's hungry. She barely lets me put the nipple in her mouth, and when I do she doesn't even try to close her mouth around it and continues to wiggle and arch away from it. I've even tried to express some milk into her mouth, but neither that nor holding her in any particular position vs. another seems to make a difference (and yes, I'm sure that she actually is wanting to nurse while this is happening). This will go on for a few minutes before she finally latches. Unfortunately she's currently in the midst of a raging growth spurt and wants to eat CONSTANTLY, so this new habit is not making things any easier Any thoughts about what this is/advice? I'm really frustrated...
