nursing strike?

DS is almost 5 months and he doesn't seem to want to nurse anymore. It started a few weeks ago with just evening feedings and now it seems all the time. I've tried nursing in a dark quiet room to minimize distractions, I've tried letting him get hungry enough that he's almost forced to nurse if he wants to eat but that just seems cruel, and I've tried EPing but I am so inefficient with the pump that I only get a few ounces but still feel full. How do I get him interested in nursing again for the times I'm with him?
