Conception Date Discrepancy

Hi everyone,

This is my first pregnancy and my doctor told me I'm 9-10 weeks pregnant, which i know is totally wrong. the first day of my last menstrual cycle was May 1, 2012 and i know the conception date was May 11, 2012 and today is June 12, 2012 and if I counted from the first day of my last period, I'm supposed to be 6 weeks, but I was told I'm 9-10 weeks pregnant! How is that possible?

I'm really upset and my husband is too. He jokingly asked me who did i sleep with and it really bothers me and is causing me sooo much personal stress.

has anyone else had this happen?
