Thrush/Yeast Infection in Breasts

Unfortunately, I think I have a yeast infection in my breasts. After talking to a lactation consultant and my doctor, they said I have the symptoms (deep shooting pains and burning in breasts after feeding). My doctor is calling in a prescription for an antibiotic and I am supposed to put monistat on my nipples. I also have to call my daughter's doctor in the morning to have her mouth treated, even though she has no symptoms of thrush. Has anyone been through this before and can give me some advice or just share their story with me? Also, is there anything I can do to reduce the pain/burning until the antibiotic starts working?
