Ladies, Im in desparate need of advice. DS is almost 7 months and I've decided to stop pumping due to me returning to work soon. It was a gradual process of a month with slowly increasing formula and decreasing pump sessions. I was down to pumping twice a day before surrendering. This was three days ago and my breasts hurt tremedously, especially the one that always produced more. I tried wearing a sports bra but the tightness drives me bonkers and the pain is worse when wearing a bra. I take advil but it doesnt seem to help. Ironically when I stopped pumping, I started my first period since delivery. My body is very very sore and I need some advice. I knew I would be sore but it feels like I got hit with a baseball bat in the chest and have difficulty lifting DS and holding him.
