Scalding milk?

After EBF for 10 weeks, I just started back to work and day #1 of frozen BM in a bottle was a big fail.  He hated it!  It does smell a little different...  I read about the lipase enzyme issue so my question is: 

1. Can I scald the milk ive already frozen, or do I have to just dump it?

2. For pumping fresh milk, does it matter if it sits at work all day, and then I scald everything at night when I get home, and then freeze or re-refrigerate? Or is there a timing window you have to follow?
