PP AF - Was back, but gone again? (not pregnant!)

Has anyone else had a PP AF, but then it didn't come back and you got the delayed period with BF?  I had my first PP period at 10 weeks.  DS is now almost 17 weeks and it hasn't come back.  I am 100% positive I am not pregnant (my name isn't Mary ).  The only thing I can think is that I did try a low dose BCP from 6-10 weeks.  I decided I just didn't feel comfortable after that first month and decided to wait until DS weaned to start back on the BCP.  I am wondering if the only reason I got the first PP AF was the hormones from the pill.  Kinda hoping I'm getting the delayed AF they say you can get with BF.  Fingers-crossed!
