I just pumped for the sole purpose of putting it in my ear

I think I've got/am getting an ear infection. today I woke up an the other one has that feeling now. I'm trying to avoid antibiotics. Anyone know how to do this? How often I have to put some in there? How long I have to keep it in there? Thanks!
