Swimsuit shopping....ugh

I've never enjoyed shopping for a swimsuit but yesterday was THE worst! I've always worn a small and there were mediums I couldn't pull over my hips....a large was TIGHT! Who are they making these things for!? I couldn't even bring myself to try on the maternity ones that looked like old mama suits...the hubs was so sweet & kept telling me I was pg and that's why I was having trouble but I'm only 10wks. Anyone else have this problem?
