Hormones and pity party for one.

Hi Ladies,

We are going for our heartbeat scan on Friday and are then traveling to both of our families to tell them the news on Saturday and Sunday.

I just rung my Dad to let him and mom know that we would be up for a visit and he tells me that my cousin (his niece) is pregnant and due a week before I am.

Please dont get me wrong I am so happy for her I just feel like this has ruined our surprise as it will be the "second" great grandchild by the time I get to tell my Gran and when I got off the phone I just bawled my eyes out because she "ruined" our surprise.

I'm not normally like this and am putting it down to hormones.
