1st appointment & thinking about spilling the beans soon...

I had my first prenatal appointment today, mostly just chatted with my doc and had urine and bloodwork done. No U/S booked yet & I forgot to ask when that will be done... oh well, I see my doc in 4 weeks so I'll ask her then.

I found out that I'm actually 6wks along vs 5w4d (due to my cycle length)... yay! (not that it'll really make a difference!)

My doc actually suggested that I don't need to wait til 12weeks to tell family & friends that I'm pregnant, that if I have a MC I might want to have more support, so I was thinking about spilling the beans sooner rather than later (plus I'm really getting excited to tell my family, and my DH is having a tough time not to let out our secret!!!) I'm thinking around 7weeks maybe? Anyone else spill the beans that early?
