An update from my earlier post: Worrying Myself Sick

So I went to the doctor. Their pee test initially came back negative but by the time the doctor made it into the room she told me a faint, but there, positive came up after a few minutes. 

She said she has no reason to worry, that by my blood work done on Wednesday I'm just really early on and that as long as I'm not cramping and bleeding, we're good to go. 

Blood work has been ordered and I had my first pelvic exam. They asked me all the questions and explained what will be happening over the duration of my pregnancy. They were all so calm and confident when I had gone in there practically frantic. They handed me a bag full of "yay your pregnant" goodies including a can of formula...

It all still feels so surreal!  

Tomorrow I fly out to Sacramento to stay with my fianc? for 5 weeks, and after that I come back for my first ultrasound. Hopefully he'll be able to come back with me.

Thank you for all you ladies who have been responding to me. It helps. A lot.
