How is it possible???

So this question has been bothering me all day!!! How is it possibl eto be showing when the baby is soooooo tiny still!!! When do you generally start showing? Is there a certain week it happens? I keep reading about people showing at like 8 weeks and Im like "Im pretty sure the only thing Im showing is bloat" .... I have a little more around the belly area to begin with so Im not expecting to show anytime soon but when does it generally happen?
