Those with a short cervix...need your help

Hi Ladies!

I have a short cervix that been monitored throughout my pregnancy.  The last time I was measured was about 4 weeks ago and it was a 1.7.  They aren't measuring me anymore though since I'm so far along.

Point of my post is last night and this morning I've had this stabby pain down there.  I'm wondering what it means?  Are things happening labor wise?  I see my Dr. tomorrow so I'll mention it to her then but I was hoping to get some insight from you ladies here.
