BF and birth control?

I had my postpartum appointment yesterday and talked to the doctor about birth control. She said my options are limited since I am breastfeeding, and basically said my choices are the mini pill, Mirena, ParaGard and condoms. 

I'm afraid to go with the mini pill because I have a hard enough time remembering my vitamins each day (let alone the same exact time each day!). DH agrees ? I'm a bit forgetful. So I'm considering Mirena.

Is anyone here using Mirena? Any thoughts on it? I never thought twice about being on the pill before pregnancy, but now that I've been off it for so long, and I'm 32, I want to do my research first. The doctor gave me some info to read about it, but just wondering if any of you have any advice. Thanks!
