How to stop nursing to sleep

I don't really mind it, but want to be able to leave LO with my husband or a family member once in awhile for a mom's night out. Right now we give him a bath, massage, in p.j.'s, and I nurse. He STTN like a champ, so no sleep issues. He does not like the bottle much (we are currently working on improving that), so I'm thinking for now I can just change up his routine a little. Maybe nurse before we start his routine?  Has anyone done something similar or have any advice? He does not like pacifiers.  TIA!
