Swollen right leg/foot.....when to call?

My right leg/foot (mainly around the ankle) is extremely swollen, red, and a little hot/tender to the touch. I'm pretty sure it's due to insect bites (got two really lovely yellow fly bites on the back lower calf and ankle....oh the joys of living on a river in Florida.) I started noticing it at work earlier today, and it seems to have gotten slightly worse since then. One of the bites I scratched off in my sleep last night and it has been "weeping" ever since.

 It's not painful to stand on, more like a little uncomfortable. Should I be worried, or just quit being so paranoid and ice the damn thing?
