I've struggled to eat enough and gain weight this pregnancy, even once my terrible morning sickness went away.
Today, I've eaten so much food that I wonder where it all went? A huge bowl of cereal with whole milk (midwives want me on whole to up calories and because it's generally better for vitamin absorption), a whole vine-ripe tomato, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on whole wheat bread, peach Greek Yogurt with granola, a few strips of fresh bell pepper, a glass of chocolate milk... and then at dinner I ate a chicken leg (rotisserie style from the crock pot), HALF of the 3 qt casserole dish of roasted potatoes/squash/onion/zucchini and when DH pointed out the leftover corn bread from another day... I ate that too! What the heck??? I fully intend on eating a popsicle once the toddler is in bed too.
