Weighing before and after feeding

I weighed ds this morning before I fed him and he was 15 lbs 12 oz. he then ate for 7 minutes and I weighed him again and he was 16 lbs 3 oz.  that's a 7 ounce difference. Is that even possible?  I weighed him twice both times to make sure and he was only wearing his diaper. He takes 4 oz bottles at day care. So I was shocked he gulped down 7 ounces that quickly.  He even woke up and ate 5 times last night.
