Nursing every time he wakes up

Hi all,

DS is 7.5 weeks old. He wants to nurse EVERY time he wakes up. Even if he nursed, fell asleep at the breast and only snoozed for 30 minutes. Is this normal? I feel like he is just doing it for comfort rather than because he is truly hungry. Is this something I should be trying to avoid or waiting till he's a bit older to "break this habit?" Thanks!
