What is breastfeeding for the first time like?

I am a FTM and planning on breastfeeding. I want to do it within the first hour but have no clue if anything will be there for the baby. I just noticed today a tiny bit of yellow dried up something on my nipple, assuming collustrum.

So, what was it like for you breast feeding for the first time? Is it normal to fear that nothing is there for the baby? Is anything going to come out? Will I know?
