If you decide to have another child, look into Aflac (or something similar).  You can get it yourself, and the Short Term Disability covers maternity.  It's what I have.  I had to have it for 3 months before getting pregnant though for it to cover the maternity leave.  It doesn't pay great (whatever percentage you choose), but at least it would be something.
