Contractions with Cramps

I've been having BH forever and just today I've noticed I'm getting period like cramps with what I think are contractions (FTM). They're happening every 20 minutes or so (just started timing on my phone), do I wait until they are a lot close together to call? I haven't had my water break or lost my mucus plug (sorry TMI), WWYD?
