How long does it take to wean?

Ladies, I am looking for some advice.  Right after my LO will turn one, I am scheduled to travel for my job and since my goal is to make it to a year, I would like to stop after I reach that goal and not have to bring my pump with me on my travel assignment.  I actually think I want to stop pumping before LO turns one because I have a large freezer supply.  If I started to wean two weeks before my travels, would that my sufficient so that I wouldn't have to worry about bringing my pump or does it typically take longer?  I know I can't quit cold turkey, but over two weeks if I slowly decrease sessions and frequency does that seem reasonable?  Any advice is appreciated!  Thanks!
