I'm going to be really tacky after work.

I'm taking DS to a bar with an outside patio with my coworkers for a team members last day. DH can't get DS because he caught his hand foot and mouth disease and can't pick him up (he can barely walk due to the pain). There is another guy who is bringing his son (who is a couple of months old) so I don't feel like a completely horrible mother. All the bars here are non smoking so we won't have to worry about that and I don't drink when I have him either.

I'm justifying it saying that if we are home then DH won't sleep and he's reached the most painful part of the illness so it's better if he sleeps as much as possible. 

It's 85, sunny and perfect here. I just can't go home and be inside when it's this nice out.
