How did you feel leading up to giving birth?

For 2nd time mommy's. 

How did you feel leading up to the days before you went into labor or were induced? I didn't know it was possible to feel this miserable, I feel like I got ran over by a train. Just want to know what symptoms to look for in the upcoming weeks.
