Movement?

Did anyone notice the baby's movements changing when they first got around the 3rd trimester? I have an anterior placenta so I have felt very many actual hard "kicks" but a few weeks ago LO was moving all day long. Now I only feel some flutters here and there, no pattern to the movement at all. I am still feeling him move, and we have a doppler and his heart rate sounds fine, and easy to find everytime I use it. The movements have just seemed to change in frequency and intensity. Has this happened to anyone else?
