I am in my 8th month. A good friend is a lactation specialist at a major university hospital and has been a great help to me so far and will be there to help me if I need it when I start BF.
I have noticed recently that I have some leakage (not a large amount). It started a few weeks ago. I asked her if that was a good sign, meaning that I would produce well (I have 2 good friends who just could not get enough production and/or the production tapered offer after a few months). She said that nothing is for sure, but it is a good sign.
Anyone with any other insight? I know this is totally normal, but should it make me a bit more confident that I won't have the same fate as my friends who weren't great producers (granted I don't know if they weren't feeding enough, or had other issues).
I am so excited to BF.
