Pertussis/Whooping Cough Vaccine

I was told my by OB that anyone that is going to hold the baby has to get vaccinated. But the reality is I can't make everyone get the vaccine...or if they didn't get the vaccine, do I tell them they can't hold the baby? I'm telling my close friends and relatives to get it. Only people that I know are going to be touching the baby frequently, like my parents/siblings, and close friends. Anyone who wants to baby sit the baby. Any advise on this subject?
