how many guests were at your shower?

My MIL just emailed me and said there are 20 RSVPs so far.  I sent her a list of who I'd like to invite and she added more and so did other people helping her plan.  I had small showers with just family for both my DDs...so this is the first "real" shower I've had that is a mixture of family & friends and a big "to do"....how many did you have come to yours and how many did you invite?
