How do i pick a breast pump?

I want to add this to my registry simpley for the completion discount- its kinda weird to expect someone to buy it for me (besides my mom or MIL). But how do you pick? Electric? Manual? Are there reviews?

How do you clean these things? And really- $300??? Thats crazy to me. Any help would be appreciated
