My mom makes me crazy! Sympathetic ear/rant

I was feeling bad that my mom hadn't seen this baby at all.  In an attempt to get her to leave me the heck alone, I invited her to my ultrasound.  In my mind this meant she would take her own car and we would maybe MAYBE go to lunch with my husband.

My mom has bipolar disorder and she going to want to try and "repair" things between us or lecture me or be manic.  Ugh!  I am SO dreading going to this appointment now.

I had originally plan a hospital tour, massage, etc.  I cancelled all of that and now my husband has to bow out of lunch. =(  I just talked to my mom and she told me she planned for us to be together from 8:30 to 3:00.  There is also an awkward 30 minute car ride which we will now be forced to do together (she decided she's not driving).  This means I can't fight back and have to just listen to her craziness for 7 hours.  ***horror music plays***
