If you are getting a convertible crib...

If you are getting a convertible crib are you purchasing the other furniture that matches (dresser, chest of drawers, etc.)?  A convertible crib makes since to me and I found one I like but I don't have room/money to purchase the rest of the furniture.  H made the point that when it's time to convert the bed into a full-size then LO won't have the rest of the furniture to match.  Should I just go with a normal crib in this case?
