Offered a second shower, but don't want it...

My mom mentioned today that she wants to throw a shower for me and invite family.  However, I feel like this is asking too much of people because they had a shower for me 2 years ago for my first child. 

We don't know the gender, so there really isn't much I need and I feel guilty having people who just spent money throwing me another shower.  I mentioned this briefly but my mom just said "but they want to".  I'm just afraid it makes me look gift grabby.

I wasn't able to really talk much about it at the time but think I may suggest just having family over after the baby comes if they want to meet the baby.  

What would you do?  Obviously my mom wants to do this and I don't want to seem ungrateful, but I just don't really feel comfortable having another shower so close to the first.
