period cramps only in the afternoon?

For the last two days I have been having period like cramps that only come in the late afternoon. If I were having these all day I would be converned, can this just be because I am tired from being at work all day? Would you be concerned? I was told at my last appointment my cervix is down to 2.0cm and we are watching for signs of preterm labor...
