So I failed the 1 hour test by quite a bit, enough that I am skipping the 3 hour tolerence test and going straight to the diabetes counseling. I'm feeling pretty crappy but I knew this was a possibilty being that I was diagnosed with PCOS last year. My appt isn't for another week, I know I need to limit the amount of sugar I consume until the appt and increase excercise. I was wondering if any others who have been diagnosed with GD had any advice for me while I wait for the appt or any encouraging words to make me feeling less crappy .
