I have a dumb BH question

I over did things a little on Saturday shoveling. The shovel fulls weren't heavy or anything but I think it was the twisting to throw each shovel full into a cart. I wasn't turning alot. I didn't feel like I was exerting myself at the time but a couple hours later I got what I thought were BH's.

Today I've been looking up BH's because I never got them with my first but everything I've read said BH's shouldn't hurt. These felt like early labor pains but only lasted an hour for about a minute each and weren't timeable in the least. They weren't painless but they weren't the worst thing I've ever felt either. So now I'm wondering. Are BH's really painless?
