Metal concert safe?

I do plan on asking my doctor (I was going to ask her at my appointment this week but she rushed me off to get an unscheduled u/s) but I just thought I'd ask here to get some opinions.

My friends are in a touring metal band and are coming to town later this month. I'll be 26 weeks when they are in town. I'm going to the show regardless but I'm concerned about the safety of my LO's hearing and the loud noise/low bass. I'm obviously not going to be in the crowd. I'm just not sure if I should watch from way back or on the side of the stage. I'm thinking side stage would be a little more dangerous because the speakers are right there, although the bigger speakers face the crowd not the stage. I'm not even sure if I should be in the room at all!
