Extremely Low Vitamin D (repost from August)

My OB called me today (mini heart attack when I got the message) Well when I called back he told me he had called in a prescription for Vitamin D because mine is so low. I am glad that it was something so minor, but still wonder if anyone else has this?

I know it's because we never see the sun, and it always rains here (Oregon Coast) but I was just wondering how common/uncommon this was during pregnancy? Has anyone had experience with this?
