I have people telling me that I am going to be a horrible mom because I am leaving the circumcision decision to my husband. Last time I checked, I am a woman and no amount of research is going to make me know firsthand how that decision affects a male.

All I can possibly know is what news articles want you to know and every news article is biased one way or another so you have to do extensive research and even then you won't have a firsthand account. The only firsthand account I know is that of my father, his male siblings, and his biological father where something was wonky with them so the foreskin wasn't functioning correctly, making life unbearable so they all got to get circumcised at about 12 or 13. I don't want that to be my son.

I really don't see how leaving that decision to my husband, with the parts in question, will make me a horrible mom.
