awkward question....

My bump has grown to the point that I can't see very well when I shave down there... Normally, I just use a regular razor, but I am afraid I will cut myself...  I know that you are less likely to cut yourself with an electric razor.  I've never used one for there and I'm worried about irritation, or missed hairs. I guess my question is has anyone else used an electric razor for this, and do they work?  Sorry for the awkwardness for the question.
