A pain in my a#$

I am a teacher and I do okay during the day but by the evening i am getting shooting pains in the upper part of my butt. I dont think it is pain related to the sciatica nerve because it does not go down my legs. I cant even go food shopping anymore. Any thoughts or rememdies???
