Giving my son breathing treatments when pregnant?

My 2 yr old son is wheezing and we're doing Albuterol and Xopenex treatments every 4 hours. He hates it and I have to hold him against me and place the mask on his face. A good bit of the aerosoled medicine is in the air and hits my face. What are your thoughts on this? The pedi said it was fine, but when I came home I discovered both meds are a Cat C and not advised in pregnancy. I've had 3 exposures so far and am supposed to be doing this every 4 hours for the next week. I'm awaiting a call back from my OB to get his take on it, but thought I'd check with y'all in the meantime. Anybody else experience this before? And if so, did you have any issues from it? Thanks!
